  • Council of Europe - Call for applications for the Best Practice Programme in Promoting Academic Integrity (HoO)

    The Best Practice Programme in Promoting Academic Integrity is in line with the ETINED mission, specifically with "sharing information and good practices among member States in the widest possible way and raising awareness of the issues of ethics, transparency and integrity in education" and for this first year will focus on solutions found to promote academic integrity during the COVID-19 health crisis in the following categories:

  • UNIMED - The Internationalisation of Higher Education in the Mediterranean - Report now avalaible

    The Internationalisation of Higher Education in the Mediterranean, Current and Prospective Trends. A study launched by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and conducted by UNIMED.
    The study aims to investigate the internationalisation of higher education, to identify obstacles and challenges, to outline transferable inspiring practices and finally to make a series of recommendations for the Union for the Mediterranean to foster regional integration.
    The study has focused on 10 countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. It was officially launched at a dedicated event on June 22, 2021, attended by more than 150 participants from more than 30 countries worldwide.

  • University of Tehran - Masters program in Middle East Studies

    The University Tehran launches a call for applications for the Masters program in Middle East Studies at the Department of Regional Studies (DRS), Faculty of Law. This program aims to enable students to examine how the Middle East affects the political, economic, and social dynamics of the world and will also help them to acquire a better understanding of the political, economic and cultural developments of the region.

  • Diku changes its name

    Diku - Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education changes its name to Norwegian Directorate for Higher education and Skills. The change of name is effective from the 1st of July 2021.

  • ARES launches new Blog MOOVE

    The Academy of Research and Higher Education (ARES) is the federation of French-speaking higher education institutions in Belgium. Its role is to ensure the overall coordination of their activities and to encourage the development of collaborations between them.
    ARES promotes academic development cooperation through “MOOVE”, a brand new blog providing information on the projects it coordinates. It highlights the interventions carried out by teachers and researchers from our higher education establishments in 18 of the partner countries of Belgian cooperation. So many testimonies illustrating the contribution of the academic communities of the North and the South to the Sustainable Development Goals!
    MOOVE is an invitation to a scientific journey and to the exploration of inspiring project for society.
