  • Birzeit University - Admission now open for the Palestine & Arabic Studies Program

    Birzeit University launches a call for Palestine and Arabic Studies (PAS) program for the Spring term (2021/2022). PAS is a comprehensive and accredited academic program aimed at offering international students the opportunity to combine the study of the Arabic language with social science courses about Palestine and the Arab World. Admission is Open now for the "ON CAMPUS "Spring Semester, 2022.

  • Autonomous University of Chiapas - Conference on the Internationalization of Higher Education (JIES)

    The Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH), through the General Coordination of Interinstitutional Relations, will organize a “Conference on the Internationalization of Higher Education (JIES), from November 16 to 18, 2021.This event will take place through digital platforms and will be broadcasted from the UNACH headquarters in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
    The meeting will bring together experts from Venezuela, the United States, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, the Netherlands, Colombia and Mexico, who will speak about the new dynamics of internationalization, alterity and interculturality, online higher education, among other topics.

  • UNINETTUNO University - Second edition of the online training program “Reporting Climate Change”

    UNINETTUNO and COPEAM, thanks to the support of the EIB - European Investment Bank, launch the second edition of the international e-learning course “Reporting Climate Change” during the opening works of the Glasgow COP 26.

    This innovative training opportunity is open to TV, radio and press journalists from the MENA region, the Balkans and the sub-Saharan Africa, and it aims at reinforcing their knowledge and reporting skills about the current sustainable development challenges and the impact of climate change.
    Several international experts – from the academic, scientific and media sectors – are involved in the course’s modules to deliver video-lessons (available in English, French and Arabic), to talk about case-studies and in-the-field experiences, to provide a rich multimedia supporting material about key-issues such as climate change, water security, energy transition, sustainability, environmental crimes.
    At the end of the training programme, the participating journalists having completed the course will receive a certificate of completion co-signed by UNINETTUNO University, COPEAM and the European Investment Bank.

  • University of Ghana - New Vice-Chancellor

    The University Council on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, appointed Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana. Her appointment takes effect from October 26, 2021. Professor Amfo, by this appointment, becomes the first woman to occupy the position of Vice-Chancellor in the University. In her inaugural speech, Prof. Amfo promised to create a culture that promotes research, teaching and learning, administrative processes and extension activities driven by technology and anchored in humanism.   • UNIMED - Online course "Euro-Mediterranean Intercultural Trends"

    The Anna Lindh Foundation and UNIMED, the Mediterranean Universities Union, announce a new edition of the online course "Euro-Mediterranean Intercultural Trends".

    The course is based on the Intercultural Trends Report of the Anna Lindh Foundation, a major research effort based on interviews with more than 13,000 people across 13 Mediterranean countries, to learn about their expectations, concerns, interests and values.

    The fall edition of the course will start on 10 November 2020 and finish on 7 December 2020, lasting four weeks for a total of approximately 12 hours of study. You can find more information and register for the course at the following link:

  • HBMSU Innovation Arabia 15 - Call for Abstracts

    Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) is organizing its Fifteenth edition, Innovation Arabia (IA 15) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU.

    The conference coincides with EXPO 2020 and contributes to Dubai as the hub for connecting minds and creating the Future. As an application of its theme “Innovation Everywhere: Innovation Acceleration and Future Paradigms for Economic Growth and Sustainability’” IA15 comprises three virtual conferences and a summit dedicated to showcasing the identified distinguished innovations.
    The three conferences will have distinguished keynote speeches, panel discussions, scientific presentations sessions, webinars, social activities, and entrepreneurial pitches. The Summit will be held on 22 February 2022, where selected keynote speeches and awards ceremonies will occur. IA15 addresses contemporary issues in service quality, education for skills, and sustainability, and helps spread a culture of innovation throughout the world. IA 15 will provide a platform for passionate communities aspiring to a new level of success for innovation.

  • University of Tehran - New President

    Dr. Mohammad Ali Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, has designated Dr.Seyed Mohammad Moghimi, Professor at the UT Faculty of Management, as the new President of the University of Tehran. Dr. Seyed Moghim succeeds to Dr. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi who served the University from 2014 to 2021. Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Marandi, Professor of English Literature at the UT Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, has also been appointed as UT new Vice President for International Affairs.

  • UC Chile - International mobility program for students with disabilities

    Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC) created the first international mobility program for students with disabilities with five Spanish university partners : Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad de Deusto, Universidad de Murcia, Universidad de Granada (IAU member), Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

    The pilot program will offer five vacancies with curricular adjustments and support for students with disabilities.
    Online applications will open from October 12th to November 10th, 2021.
