The Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Center for Foresight Studies, in cooperation with the International Federation for Future Studies, started the first steps to organize an international conference on future studies during the period from 26-29 October 2021 in Berlin-Germany.
The World Federation for Future Studies holds an international conference every two years in which all research centers and organizations concerned with future studies participate. This conference is considered the largest and most diverse in the world in future studies. This year’s conference is sponsored by the Prince Mohammed Center for Future Studies.
The Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Center for Prospective Studies has recently been recognized as one of the most important research centers in the Arab region in the field of future studies, as a result of the Center’s remarkable achievements in concluding partnership agreements with the International Federation for Future Studies and establishing a branch of the Federation at the PMU headquarters to be Representing the Federation.
PMU will be the World Federation’s representative in the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as a collaboration agreement with UNESCO and the initiation of procedures to create the UNESCO Chair in Future Studies at the University, as well as partnership agreements with several international institutions in the field of future studies.
Due to the extreme importance of these types of studies in recent years, the international meeting, which will be held in October of this year, is regarded as a significant move forward for future studies.
The acceptance dates for the participating research papers will be published shortly.
