York University - Call for Contributions for the 2nd edition of the Sustainable on the Go (SOTG 2022)10 November 2021
York University launches a call for Contributions for the 2nd edition of the Sustainable on the Go (SOTG 2022) Conference, co-organized by York International, the UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability, McLaughlin College, and international partners on 24th January 2022, the fourth UN International Day of Education.
The 2nd SOTG Conference will feature inclusive, innovative, and interactive formats and facilitate participation focusing on three themes: Sustainable and inclusive global learning fostering diversity and equity in internationalization; Connecting the global and local classrooms; and Students’ local and global community engagement while gender, education for sustainable development, and Indigeneity, are considered cross-cutting issues in all conversations.
York University and partners are looking for contributors such as moderators, speakers, rapporteurs, artists, and volunteers to contribute and to support the conference. Autonomous University of Chiapas - Conference on the Internationalization of Higher Education (JIES)9 November 2021The Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH), through the General Coordination of Interinstitutional Relations, will organize a “Conference on the Internationalization of Higher Education (JIES), from November 16 to 18, 2021.This event will take place through digital platforms and will be broadcasted from the UNACH headquarters in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
The meeting will bring together experts from Venezuela, the United States, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, the Netherlands, Colombia and Mexico, who will speak about the new dynamics of internationalization, alterity and interculturality, online higher education, among other topics.

UNINETTUNO University - Second edition of the online training program “Reporting Climate Change”8 November 2021UNINETTUNO and COPEAM, thanks to the support of the EIB - European Investment Bank, launch the second edition of the international e-learning course “Reporting Climate Change” during the opening works of the Glasgow COP 26.
This innovative training opportunity is open to TV, radio and press journalists from the MENA region, the Balkans and the sub-Saharan Africa, and it aims at reinforcing their knowledge and reporting skills about the current sustainable development challenges and the impact of climate change.
Several international experts – from the academic, scientific and media sectors – are involved in the course’s modules to deliver video-lessons (available in English, French and Arabic), to talk about case-studies and in-the-field experiences, to provide a rich multimedia supporting material about key-issues such as climate change, water security, energy transition, sustainability, environmental crimes.
At the end of the training programme, the participating journalists having completed the course will receive a certificate of completion co-signed by UNINETTUNO University, COPEAM and the European Investment Bank.

University of Ghana - New Vice-Chancellor3 November 2021The University Council on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, appointed Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana. Her appointment takes effect from October 26, 2021. Professor Amfo, by this appointment, becomes the first woman to occupy the position of Vice-Chancellor in the University. In her inaugural speech, Prof. Amfo promised to create a culture that promotes research, teaching and learning, administrative processes and extension activities driven by technology and anchored in humanism. UNIMED - Online course "Euro-Mediterranean Intercultural Trends"25 October 2021The Anna Lindh Foundation and UNIMED, the Mediterranean Universities Union, announce a new edition of the online course "Euro-Mediterranean Intercultural Trends".
The course is based on the Intercultural Trends Report of the Anna Lindh Foundation, a major research effort based on interviews with more than 13,000 people across 13 Mediterranean countries, to learn about their expectations, concerns, interests and values.
The fall edition of the course will start on 10 November 2020 and finish on 7 December 2020, lasting four weeks for a total of approximately 12 hours of study. You can find more information and register for the course at the following link:
