Mykolas Romeris University council announces a public contest for the Rector’s position20 December 2023A public contest for Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), Lithuania, Rector’s position is announced according to the procedure approved by the Resolution of MRU Council of February 6, 2015, No 1UT-5.
The Rector’s position can be taken by a person of impeccable reputation, who has a scientific degree or is a recognized artist, has pedagogical and managerial experience, speaks and writes the official Lithuanian language.
The applicants are kindly invited to submit the documents proving the granted academic degree, pedagogical and managerial experience, a signed motivation letter, a five-year program and other documents that, in their opinion, would add value for the selection procedure including the e-mail address and other contact information. The applicants are responsible for the correctness and accuracy of the information provided.
The applicants’ documents are accepted until January 26th, 2024, 4:00 p.m. (Vilnius time).
They can be submitted in person by bringing them to the MRU Personnel Management Centre, room I-204, Ateities st. 20, Vilnius, Lithuania, or sending them by e-mail: [email protected]. For enquiries please contact via tel. +370 5 2714 541. -

University of Ghana - Vice-Chancellor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo elected ARUA Board Vice-Chair16 November 2023The University of Ghana’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, has been elected as the Vice-Chair of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Board. The election took place on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at an ARUA meeting held at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
