Dr. Lianne Guerra Rondón joins the International Association of Universities in 2020 as Project Officer to work on the design and implementation of the IAU UIL Global survey on universities’ contribution to Lifelong Learning (LLL). She also supports IAU membership development in Latin America and contributes to IAU Lynx, identifying new policies and initiatives on various HE topics in the region. In 2019, she worked as consultant at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) on comparative case studies, and on the development of cooperation strategies. In 2017, as Team Assistant at the ECLAC, she co-authored a policy document on South-South and Triangular Cooperation. Dr. Guerra Rondón holds a PhD in Political Sciences and International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. She is a Cuban national and speaks Spanish, French and English.
