AUCC released online the third volume of its report “Trends in higher
education - Volume 3: Finance”, which examines the structure and
sources of university funding in Canada, draws a comparison with U.S.,
U.K. and Australia, and questions evolution perspectives. Main outcomes
reveal a drop in the overall revenues in favour of teaching and
research per student at Canadian universities since the 1980s and a
stagnation since 2000.
