The data provided here is extracted from the World Higher Education Database (WHED). The WHED is updated annually and comprises information not only on the education system, but also on higher education bodies and credentials offered in each country. It also contains fully referenced and comprehensive descriptions of over 16,000 higher education institutions. The 2011 edition was released in February 2011.
Please note that IAU is currently reviewing the database and is currently unable to provide information on each country to be found in the WHED. We are, however, pleased to provide you with the most recently updated country profiles. We hope to provide more countries in the near future.
