The World Bank is a global organisation headquartered in Washington DC. It provides financial and technical assistance to developing countries in such areas as education, health, public administration, infrastructure, agriculture, and environmental and natural resource management.
IAU partnerships with the World Bank have included the SABER Tertiary Education (System Approach for Better Education Results) programme, the International mapping of tertiary education leadership training programmes, and the Ranepa university, Russian Federation, project on internationalization.
